I love POWERNOIZE's quote: "Slow" is such a subjective term! Most people can't (or won't) run a marathon, not even at six hours! So be proud of accomplishing something so awesome! :-)
Thanks for posting that. I'm slow and I know, but I get there in the end. Most of the time I'm OK with it but some days I get down on myself and wish I could be faster. I put the work in, I do the training but I'm already close to my limit for training without injury. I do get a kick out of telling people at work that I run, since my build is more suited to NOT running. Love the reactions when I told them I'd run 12 miles last Sunday.
Us slow, fat runners must stick together and support each other. One day we may all be slim, fast runners but today is the day that we're living right now so let's make the most of it.
