Welcome! Making healthy food choices can be difficult, especially in the dining hall. Check out this article - it lists over 100 foods that are good for you. There are plenty of options available, but maybe not in your dining halls unfortunately.

But be willing to try new foods, practice portion control, eat lots and lots of fruits and vegetables. For me making healthy choices is the hardest part of the equation, especially because I'm a foodie. Weight loss is pretty much 80% healthy food choices and 20% exercise, so being smart about your food choices is huge. But hey, I did it so I know you can too!

Hello! I'm a sophomore at NGCSU and am really trying to become healthier. I've struggled with my weight for about ever. I'm so thankful the school has an awesome rec center but I struggle with making the right food choices in the dining hall. I feel like making the healthy options means eating the same few foods every day and there just aren't a lot of options. Any tips?
