Well Hello There!
As that topic says, this IS all new to me! I've done work outs and weight loss type programs before but haven't really stuck with many. I definitely need encouragement. I think my biggest lie that I tell myself is that I am alone in this battle, which is obviously not true! There are countless commercials on TV about programs, diets and gym memberships. I definitely need help and reminders that I am not alone and that I can do this! I posted in the main message forum about myself. So to avoid repeating myself I'll explain my main goals for the summer. I have two, 1) I am going to California in late July for vacation and want to look and feel good in a swim suit! I am currently around 160 lbs. and I want to lose a descent amount of weight so that I feel comfortable and confident in myself and my body. My second goal is to run a 5K. I have just barely started training, I am starting a daily walking/running routine today. I want to run the 5k in 20 minutes or less.
As I posted in my page and my intro. that my biggest down fall is when I start to succeed I give myself wiggle room that I don't have! I need to keep myself accountable and have others do that as well!
