Welcome to SP and to the team, you're going to realize what an amazing tool Spark is and the people on here are great! I know it's hard to incorporate work out time, but even sometimes the little every day things can be a work out....walking from class to class across campus, or maybe just walking for 20 to 30 minutes after you get up from sleeping and/or before the shower. It may take some planning or trial and error, but you will figure out what best works for you...maybe it's a work out DVD...you will have to try a few things before you figure out what works best for you.
With this said congrats, you already took the first and important step to getting healthy...joining Spark.
RECYCLE, GREEN is the new Black!!!
My name is Lindsay. I am 23 years old and live in Iowa. I work third shift and because of it i have really let myself go and gained a lot of weight. I overall need to lose 50 lbs this year to be at a healthy weight. I found sparkpeople through Self magazine and thought I would give it a try. So far I am impressed by how organized and easy to use is! The main challenge I am going to have is finding time to exercise. Working all night then sleeping during the day really hinders time to go to the gym. If anyone has any suggestions let me know =)
Wish me luck!
