Hi everyone! I'm Anna, a 21-year-old sophomore at the University of Vermont. After traveling in between my high school graduation and my freshman year, I found myself 22 pounds heavier. For someone who used to be active every day and who went to the state championships twice for track, this was an awful lot, and devastating in a lot of ways for my self-image. I realized how bad my eating habits were and how much I needed a regular schedule, even a team, to keep myself going and active. I don't weigh as much as I did two years ago, but I want to drop those last ten or fifteen pounds by focusing less on losing weight and more on just getting back into running shape and on improving my flexibility, overall strength, and state of mind with yoga. I'm excited to be here!
"At that moment I was sure. That I belonged in my skin. That my organs were mine and my eyes were mine and my ears, which could only hear the silence of the night and my faint breathing, were mine, and I loved them and what they could do."
