I don't have kids but I understand how crazy life can be! I work full time I am a full time student working on my masters! I understand how hard it is! I've recently started exercising and trying a diet! I've found that I had to make a decision that I am going to do this for ME and no one else! The gym I go to has a program for kids called fit kids they take the kids and do an exercise program with them while the mom goes to exercise! If you can find a gym that has a childcare facility that would be great and make it part of the routine or even get up and go before they wake up in the morning! You'll feel better and have more energy in the morning to chase the kiddos! One of my biggest struggles was food, it was just so much easier to order a pizza or go through a drive through then it was to make something! I literally had to go through my pantry and get rid of things that were bad for me! I also deleted the delivery places out of my phone so I have to make an effort to go look up the number and during that time I usually convince myself to not do it! Get involved in group fitness! It's a blast and you meet tons of other women on your same position and they are the best support group I have found so far! Another idea would be to maybe get some workout videos so you can do them while the kids are napping! Hope you've found some of my suggestions helpful! And GOOD LUCK!! YOU CAN DO IT!!!
Hello everybody! My name is Tia, and I am a mother to 3 little kiddies. I have a daughter that is 3 yrs old, a son who is 1 1/2 yrs old and a son who is 3 months old, and I am trying to get rid of this weight. How in the world will I ever lose this weight I have no idea. My husband is also trying to lose weight. He has gained just as much as I have with the pregnancies. I tried the counting calories diet and that got blew out of the water, and to be honest I dont know what other way to lose the weight. I never have time to go and walk or run. I am also going to school to become a nurse. I would like to lose about 60 lbs, but I want to lose a good bit of that before march of 2012 and I know they say thats is not enough time to lose that much weight but it has to be done. I also need ideas on how to tone up all that after the weight is gone. If anybody has any ideas let me know. Im ready to be back in shape.
