Hey Y'all my name is Deven. I am a 20 yr second yr freshmen in college and I need some help. I was always the chunky kid in class, but the summer between my 6th and 7th grade year that all changed. I started marching band that summer and I only ate one meal every day for the whole summer, I lost somewhere around 40-50lbs. (It's not good I know) Some how I was able to stay at 115lbs five years, maybe gaining a couple pains here and there but never went over 120lbs. Two weeks after I graduated from high school I went to college. The first two months were fine, besides the fact that I had a mt. dew and hot pockets everyday; I was still able to stay around 120lbs. When the fall term started everything changed. Through out the year I was slowly gaining more and more weight and I wasn't sure how to keep it off, I walked to every class, I was marching band and ROTC and still nothing was changing. This past summer I went to find my wedding dress (I get married in July). I found the my dress but I did not like the way I looked in it. I recently went to the doctor for a shoulder injury, come to find out I am now at a whopping 168lbs, I almost started to cry. Since that day I have been trying to change my ways, I have tried to go to the gym but no one has the time to go with me and its not easy for me to give up my mt. dew. If is any ways to help keep my mind on the price please let me know. I need all the support I can get.
