Hi guys! I just wanted to take a little time to introduce myself. I am 34 years old. I just recently started back to college (online) in January of this year. I am in my 5th class. (1 class at a time for 5 weeks at a time). So far I have kept up my grades. Not too sure how this class is going to be though since it is "Ethics and Social Responsibility". Yikes! Anyway, I have battled weight problems ever since hitting puberty. My highest was 384. Last year, tired of the yo-yo dieting, I decided to have Gastric Bypass surgery. I was at 372 at my initial consult on 5/1/2009. Two weeks pre-op I was at 364. I had the surgery on July 9, 2009. As of now I am down to 262, and still trying to lose. I have another 62 to go before I hit my initial goal (and then I will set another goal). I joined Spark People for the extra support because I feel as if I have hit a plateau. Not going down but not going up either. Can't figure out what else to do in order to start losing again.
