Welcome! You have come to the right place. Maintenance is just as focused and diet for me. I try to focus on calling it lifestyle and using that in regards to maintenance. Good luck and congratulations on your success.

I still find each day too short for all the thoughts I want to think, all the walks I want to take, all the books I want to read, and all the friends I want to see.

You are right that Maintenance has it's own set of challenges, and we are here to work through those together.

Hi Everyone,
I hit my weight loss goal this past January. I lost a total of 92 pounds and did it the old fashioned way with diet and exercise over a 3-4 year period.
I am in a maintenance nutrition class buy have found that most folks there aren't yet at their goal. I have discovered that there are quite a few unique challenges to reaching goal weight that no one addresses. Things such as negative responses from others, losing a friend who didn't accept my weight loss etc.
I hope I am in the right place as I am so excited to have found this in a web search. I'm hoping to quickly learn how to navigate this website and gain support!
