Hello 20-something maintainers!
I just wanted to introduce myself and look for a little support. I'm 26 and have always been petite, but in the three years since graduating college, I gained about 20 pounds by not exercising consistently, eating junk, and drinking on the weekends. It might not sound like much, but it was a lot on my small frame. This summer, I lost 20 pounds gradually over about three months t by logging my food in SparkPeople and exercising daily. I hit my goal weight on my birthday (August 17) and have maintained ever since (so for about a month). I discovered that I really love fruits and vegetables and finding new ways to prepare them, and I discovered that I love love looooove running and biking. In fact, I'm running my first 10K on October 14th, and I'm so excited!
What I'm worried most about is the winter. I live in the Midwest, and while our winters aren't terrible, I'm nervous that I'll be less motivated to exercise indoors (I have a gym membership). I'm also struggling with the common issues of maintaining, such as figuring out how much I can indulge myself, and whether I still need to count calories!
Anyone else grappling with these same issues? Thanks for being a listening ear!
