My rider is a 14 year old boy who does great. At 4H southern regaianls he placed 8th out of 20 only one from VA to place and 10th out of 40 also only Va to place. Sept is VA State for 4H and I hope he does well. I do alot of extra walking when he rides and at the shows. I joke about I will ride once I don't out weigh the horse! I don't ride any more mostly because I don't bounce like I used to and I sure can't deal with broken bones any more! Good luck on making the team and good luck on riding again.
I am a college senior who road regularly from the time I was 10 or 11 until a few years ago when I went off to college. Since then I've been meaning to get into riding at school, but the time was just never there. Well, now I'm a senior and I'm not going to let the opportunity pass me by again!
Right now I'm scheduled to take riding as my gym credit, however I'm going to try out for the riding team. I've been riding a bit at my old barn over this summer, but since I'm aiming for an intermediate level class I've been trying to exercise outside of riding to speed the process (and to lose some weight and get more fit as a bonus).
Anyway, nice to meet you all!
