I joined Sparkpeople back in June 2011 and did great with the program. I lost weight, felt great, got my portions in control and stopped the emotional eating. I got down to 135, leaving 140-ville with my sites set on my goal of 125.
It wasn't Sparkpeople that eventually failed me, it was myself. Once I thought I got things under control, I slowly started to tell myself "oh, this one extra helping won't hurt" or "it won't matter if I missed just one workout", then the extra helpings and missed workouts added up to my gaining back some of the weight I lost.
So, I am back to my commitment to get in shape and finally make 120-ville my home. It's going to take some trips finishing 140-ville and through 130-ville to get her, but I'll get here.
