We are in about the same place - weight wise and no support from spouse. Mine though has reached his idea weight and thinks the things I do are wrong. I have those same nutrition challenges and eat almonds and spinach daily. I am so afraid of eating too much I under eat calorie wise. Ariticles say that can be just as bad, so I am making sure that I eat healthy snacks to get up there.

Good luck finishing you journey. Have you been for a check up lately with blood work? If you are low on those nutrients there is a long list of foods that can help you increase your intake. Most are vegetables.
Not sure what to say here, other than hello. I'm new here. I've been using spark people since Oct 2013, but never used the message boards before. I started at 211 and am down to 190, but seem to be stuck. I keep fluctuating between 190 and 195 for the past 6 months - frustrating, but probably my own fault (I like to "cheat" a little too often). One thing I'm concerned about is getting the right nutrients. According to the nutrition tracker, I need to increase my potassium and magnesium, but not sure how to do this without adding calories. I already eat spinach (almost daily), and unsalted nuts regularly (trying to reduce my sodium intake). But I'm missing something. I also work out at least 5 days a week, weights, treadmill, zumba (when I can) and my job is a physical one. Guess I'm looking for sound advice as well as the support I do not receive from spouse (who just handed me a twinkie!) Well thanks for reading and I look forward to getting to know you.
