I think, we've all been where you are. I have high blood pressure in my family therefore it is no surprise when I developed it as well. It's been six years since my diagnosis and to this day, I sometimes forget my meds. I have improved tremendously though. I keep my pill box, with my meds, right on my nightstand. My husband is a huge help. When he doesn't see me take the meds he'll ask me if I remembered to take them.

Hello, My name is Amanda. I just joined sparkpeople today. I developed HBP in August of 2012 when I developed eclampsia while pregnant with my son. It's been a battle every day from just remember taking my meds to trying to diet. I have never had bp problems before that but it does run in my family. I am hoping that using this sight will help me get my dieting and bp back under control. Looking forward to meeting and chatting with you all.
