You've come to a great team, and I did your DIEt several times and all I did was gain the weight back and then some each and every day. The words you put to the computer are honest and true, that it is a lifestyle change. Now that you know and understand that, You have more than half battle to pay word If there is anything I can do to keep you from falling apart, just HOLLER and I'll be there to give you the best that God wants for you!

I am new to Spark People and new to this team, so I wanted to drop in and introduce myself. I am 52 and live in California. One reason I am on here is to lose weight and lower my blood pressure- high blood pressure runs in the family, so I have a good idea what I need to do to address it. Raised in a "don't add salt" environment, I count myself lucky to have made it to 50 without having an issue. However, I do have a huge sweet tooth, and the past three years have been very stressful, so between the two I have gained quite a bit of weight. I also live a fairly sedentary lifestyle, which I need to change. So here I am- looking forward to lifestyle changes. I do have dietary issues as well- fast food and frozen meal junkie that I have been. I knew to stay away from canned foods, however. I hate taking pills, so I am hoping to be able reach a point where I won't need them anymore ( I can dream, right?)
