emoticon You have found like many of us that DIETS don't work. We have to maintain a healthy lifestyle, forever. Eating our fruits and veg's, drinking water and limiting processed foods and fats. Take a day at a time, don't try to change everything at once. Take some baby steps, so you don't get overwhelmed.

You can do this, but it takes dedication. I found that getting rid of the tempting foods and snacks in the kitchen helps. You can't eat what you don't have. When tempted, drinking a glass of water and waiting twenty minutes will sometimes make the craving go away. If you still must have something, go for a filling HEALTHY snack under 100 calories. The Nutrition tracker is an invaluable tool. Go slowly making small changes and take it one day at a time. Good luck and welcome to the Spark family.

Hello everyone! My name is Tammy and I have struggled with weight my whole life. I get discouraged easily, and reach for the worst foods to make me happy when I am down. I have tried just about every crash diet there is, but only end up putting the weight back on (or more!) within a short period of time. I have tried doing this alone for so long, now I am reaching out for support. I am eager , and excited to begin my journey with you!
