He blog is all about different aspects of obesity and one of the recent ones was about understanding that obesity is a condition and you need to understand that like diabetes it is always lurking, waiting for us to let down our guard. We need to work with it and eat healthy and exercise till we reach goal and ALWAYS. Once we accept that it becomes easier and we live so much better.

but you're not starting over again! You're just continuing on a journey that was started, where you decided to take a bit of a detour! We're all here to help you, in any way that we can, and I'll be your personal cheerleader! I'll even scream and shout at the top of my lungs, to help you get to your goal and beyond! Yes, I said, BEYOND! This I a lifestyle change journey, and this is a forever thing you're going to have to do, in order to keep God's Temple in Divine Order. It's a wonderful journey, but at times you may not thing so, but keep your eye on the prize, in small doses. An example is if you want to lose 100 lbs. don't look at that goal, as you may get discouraged, seeing such a mountain, even though you have mountain moving power through Christ. Start with 5 lbs. and each time you reach that goal, celebrate! Get a scarf, a book, or some little trinket to show that YOU DID IT! Then just keep repeating it! If I can do anything for you, just HOLLER and I'll do the best I can to give you a hand up!

I'm back.:) I had moderate success with weight loss a couple years ago with the help of this website. I started at 206 and went down to 172. My goal weight was 154. I lost focus after beginning a new relationship (which eventually led to marriage in July of 2012). It's kind of been downhill ever since. I crept back up to 206 which seems to be where my body says enough is enough! This is the point where I can only fit a few articles of clothing in my wardrobe and I'm a person who will not buy larger sizes to accommodate my growing size. Therefore, it's time to work back off the weight. I also have the motivation of my sister in law's wedding coming in June. My bridesmaid dress was purchased in August of last year and after 2 wedding date push backs, I can no longer fit it. 20 pounds must go by June 14 so I am on a mission. I need to be in the midst of motivated people so this time around on Spark, I'll participate more in the community and we'll work together to encourage one another! Thanks for reading!
