I wish you the best, persistence, is important as is moving. Even with gastric by-pass my DIL regained part of her weight back. She now has a greater sensitivity. I'm glad you have the bariatric teams support and pleased that they sent you to SP. That says a lot for them and for SP. Together we can accomplish a lot, on our own it is a struggle.
There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is. (Albert Einstein)
This is my first post. I am preparing for the procedure to help my weight loss journey to cone to a more favorable conclusion. I lost ninety five pounds four years ago via a structured medical weight loss program Unfortunately the weight slowly crept back. All of my chronic health conditions returned with a vengeance. I have never experienced long term success with weight loss. Always something got in the way, I am an overeater ANSI have no control over my eating. I realize that failure in the past stemmed from my belief that I could control my life. What hubris, what arrogance as I indulged this fantasy of my ability to control my habits.
I am afraid of what lies ahead. Nevertheless I feel heartened that my bariatric program recommended this website. I feel encouraged for the first time on this journey about the support that is available . I look forward to tracking my progress and receiving guidance from the teams here. As I have experienced in my professional life ,teamwork is essential for long-term success
