I was able to cut my BP meds from 40mg to 20mg by losing some weight. Now I read about normal, sometimes lower in the morning. I was so surprised at how much the extra weight was causing health problems. Many like by diabetic, just went away. Get on some of the forums, there are a lot of them. Set up you spark page, lose some weight, make some friends and have some fun.

Hi, I am a 56 yr young woman who is in need of losing weight. I know I am at an unhealthy weight but I cannot seem to lose it. I have been tracking my food intake and keep coming up short with the calories. This is not good as my body will not let go of anything. I know I need to eat more and not just veggies and fruits or eat more of those things. I currently take medication for high blood pressure but hope to lose enough weight and maybe not have to take them. I really like this site and hope to reach my goal of 35 lbs lose by July. I just finished training for a job which was taking up a lot of my time and I have not been exercising. Now that I have 6 hours of my time back I am going to get to it. I am encouraged by what others say on the site, it is very helpful.
