Can't help you with the smoking (I quit by just throwing mine away one day), but for the losing weight the thing that worked and is still working for me is keep track of everything in the food and exercise areas and talking with the people here at Sparks. Best of Luck and remember;

I am 65 retired and have gained weight to 280lbs, I am a diebetic type 2, my goal weight is 210 lbs, I would appreciate some help in daily diet, and exercise program, as well as quitting smoking
