looks like now, you need to start taking care of you! Losing the weight can reduce the HBP, I now only have to take 1/2 of a pill, was on more. I lost 58 pounds last year with Sparks and have a goal of 60 pounds for 2014. Join the fun and lose the weight.
Lord, bless my diet buddies and help me met my 2015 weight goals of 50 pounds. Leader "Gluten Free" and Co-Leader "Keep it Simple"

After being normal on the low side, my blood pressure shot up a few years ago. Like, REALLY up. Like, they kept asking me if I was feeling OK up. (I think it was something like 205/108. I remember the bottom number was over 100. Like I said, REALLY up.) It corresponded with a big weight gain, and a job change, and my mother's Alzheimer's getting worse, so it was a perfect storm. I've been on meds ever since, and need them or it shoots up again.
Gained 60+ pounds while my mom was dying (I was her sole caregiver), changed jobs again, and after she died, I've moved. Now, job hunting, settling in nicely in my new home, and ready to get this weight off and get off these flippin' pills! So far, I lost almost 30 pounds since moving, but I've plateaued. A tracker and a little support is just what I needed, as I've already lost a little since signing up.
Looking forward to some good tips, and some good support!
