LSB1974.....I'm sorry you're going thru this right now, but know in the end you will be the winner! This happened to me after 23yrs. , circumstances a bit different, not hateful or anything like that, but pretty much made it easy on himself to walk and leave the home etc. My children were older, like 16 & 12, but it does leave an impact on the children...it's been almost 14yrs. for me and YOU WILL SURVIVE this.....keep your children your concern and of course, yourself, because you cannot take care of anyone if you're not good! Take small steps, make goals for yourself, small to start, they're easier to achieve and that will give you the confidence to continue and move forward. Lean on family and friends...they will be there for you. AND this site is a great family/friend space....without knowing people personally, I've made some wonderful contacts.....keep your chin up! Smile....don't let him see you down, you will be better for it in the long run!.... ....REMEMBER, ONE DAY AT A TIME!!!!
Take it slow read some articles and learn to use your trackers. Take a look at what you are eating and then switch the high calorie sugars to fruit and vegetables. You can do it. Water, tea or coffee is much better than soda instead of soda. You can do it we can help Pat in Maine. So sorry about the split but it definitely sounds like it will be better for you and the girls. Be mindful that happiness isn't based on possessions, power, or prestige, but on relationships with people we love and respect.
Remember that while money talks, Friendships sing and laugh out loud.
last year my husband of 17 years walked out on me and my girls. he blamed me for everything, when i know there is/was someone else. he has made this very hard especially with his hatfullness, rudeness, name calling and insults. in this time i have probably gained about 30 lbs and the divorce isn't final. i am beginning to come to terms witht he divorce especially with his attitude change and he has compeletly went bonkers. my goal or saying for 2014 is 40 @ 40. i will turn 40 this year and i want to lose 40 lbs. also 2014 is MY year. just needing a lot of inspiration and help.
