I am new to this site obviously, however, I was just searching for answers when I found this site. I am trying to gather information on how to shop for the correct foods, carbs etc. It is so overwhelming. I am very active as far as physically working out at the local Y at least four days a week. During good weather I ride a bicycle 25 miles at least three times a week. I just cannot get the food consumption correct. I tried to stop all breads,cakes etc. but my blood sugar dropped to the mid forties and fifties and of course then the shakiness and lightheadedness began. This site looks like it is what I need. I am trying to organize in order to utilize it. thanks for the assistance. jagors
