I am in Maine I am British-English to be precise. I make almost all of my cooking and baking. You can find out just what you are cooking by weighing and measuring use the recipe calculator will give you the answers.
It is just time consuming at the beginning but many of the meals in my tracker are totally mine. Recipes from my childhood I have made much less fat and sugar are substituted or simply using less sugar and fat. Keep looking at the site it does take time. I am here for you if you have questions. Hi Pat!

Thanks for your help! However, I live in SE Louisiana and we always use HOME MADE recipes....I know, I know, NOT the healthiest! What I am looking for is an application which can actually CALCULATE the carbohydrates I've eaten daily (like today at lunch, I ate 1 1/2 cup of home made potato salad with mayo & relish. Because I am on an insulin pump (for a month now), I need to find the exact calculations for what I am eating at each meal. Most of the applications I've subscribed to give you carbohydrates which are in different foods. (for example, they list the carbs in a Wendy's apple, chicken pecan salad or different restaurants).

I will continue to search.

Again, thanks so much and I will check out what you said to look for and see if they can help me!

LULU we have diabetes tracker on Spark if you set up with spark as a diabetic. Look for a diabetic team tour will get a lot od help from the. Look for a type I team and the tracker will show you how many carbs, fats and Protein. I always shows calories butyl knowing fats, carbs and protein is much better for diabetics. I. am a type 2 I came to Spark and my A1c went from 8.8 to 5.2. Most recently A1C this month was 5.4 done after the holidays.

My name is LuLu and I have had Type I juvenile diabetes for the past 55 years. I just got an insulin pump last month and I am wondering if anyone here would know of a website I can use to calculate my carbohydrates that I eat each meal????

Any and all help will be appreciated! I am using MyFitnessPal on my Iphone; however, it does NOT calculate how many carbs I consume in each meal! For example, today, at lunch, I ate 1 1/2 cup of home made potato salad and it can't calculate the carbs in this.
I have a goal of losing 35 pounds by at least the end of September, 2014. However, I do need to find some website that can calculate the carbs I take in at each meal!!
