I would like to address the way you started your topic out, on introducing yourself. You went up under the topic, "just another newbie". Well, my dear, you're ANYTHING and EVERYTHING other than just a newbie! You're unique, strong, willing to change, putting yourself out there, and bearing your soul, for all to see. That's not "just another newbie" You've stepped up to the plate and empowered yourself, and you're getting ready for a lifestyle change, as that's exactly what this is! It's a lifestyle change journey!
I'm here to help you in any way that I can. If you need to cry, SHOUT or even give a praise report I'm there for you, all the way!

hello. i'm introducing myself. I joined sparkpeople yesterday. I need to make changes to get myself healthy again. my weight has affected my health. I have high blood pressure, high cholesterol and my bones ache. I think I might have arthritis. don't know if that's weight- related or not. lol but I got off to a great start. changed my eating habits and lost a pound in one day. woohoo. lol started walking again. I used to love walking. but I moved to a bad side of town. I guess it's safe to go out during the day. lol anyhoo....my goal is to lose at least 2 pounds a week. I have a long way to go.
