You've come to the right place. I can tell you, from experience, that this lifestyle change WORKS!!!! Yes, it's something that you'll be doing the rest of your life, but it's a small price to pay, to get healthy and stay there! Besides, once your body gets use to what you're doing, which is rearranging it, you'll feel so empowered, satisfied, euphoric, etc. It's a win, win situation!
I suggest you start tracking first. That's what you eat and all your exercising. Don't forget to track those little taste tests you do, when you're sampling your cooking, to make sure you want to serve it to the family, as well as the little love bites that your kids give you. Watch your beverages, as there's a lot of hidden sugars and caffeine, which isn't good at all. The beverage that is the most healthy is, you already know this, WATER!!!! When I started drinking water, I wondered how in the world could I get so much in me, but I did, and now I can't get enough of it. Remember, if you get to the point that you're thirsty, your body is already dehydrated!
There are so many tools here to help you, but I believe the GREATEST TOOL HERE IS...... all the wonderful ladies and gentlemen, who help you out. They're your personal cheerleaders!!! We'll all be with you, as we help you reach your GOAL and BEYOND!!! Yes, beyond!!! We're all in!!!

Penny. Glad to have you join us on this road to good health. It's not going to always be good day's. You might slip one day but you can always say I will start over tomorrow. Hi everyone, I'm Penny and am a 49 year old living in Michigan at this time. I will be moving back to Kentucky in May to be with my grandchildren. I need to lose weight due to my health ( heart and a lot of bad disc in my back ) and to be able to be alive to watch my grandchildren grow up.
