I love all these success stories. Each of you that posted here, is a success story. Any little inth that you've carved out, scrapped up, shrunk down, and put to flight, is a success story. If you are all doing well with the exercise then the next step is PORTION CONTROL.
If you are doing well with exercise and get well over 6,000 steps a day, then PORTION CONTROL is the problem for most people.
PLAN your meals.
BROIL, BOIL, STEAM, MICROWAVE (MY favorite ) No fast or Fried foods
DRINK water is best. Green tea and black tea are good. NO SODA, DIET SODA will not tame your sweet tooth so get off the soda if you are addicted to it. CUT BACK as much as you can.

MEASURE YOUR MEALS. Measuring cups are fast. I like to weigh on a kitchen scale.
I never like the guessing game. I know my meat will never look like a pack of cards. I weigh it. Then you know it is right amount.

TRACK your food. The NUTRITION TRACKER is best but write it down on a small notepad. We forget what we ate very often. Once you are finding the tracker easier it does go faster to log it in.

Make sure you add your favorites there are thousands of foods, fast foods and recipes. Using those gives you all the Nutritional information. Almost every brand of bread is in the data base---USE IT PLEASE, IT SPEEDS TRACKING YOUR FOOD EASIER.

It is a lot to learn. I Know. Remember I told you I had to learn to type and use a computer. Neither one goes fast so do it in SMALL steps. Do it right and it will go faster for you young ones. Pat in Maine. emoticon emoticon

emoticon I have dropped from a size 3x to a 1X and in tops, I can wear an extra large. I love dropping the dress size more than what the scales show.

Lord, bless my diet buddies and help me met my 2014 weight goals of 60 pounds.

It is not an easy journey for sure but after 4 years of not giving up I am healthier than ever . Size 22 down to a 16.
I am 70 years young so if this old lady can do it anyone can.

Ned,

Have you given up? Have you thrown in the towel? Have you thrown you hands in the air, in frustration, to walk away? I don't think you have. You mentioned that you lost two and then gained two, but you never QUIT!!! If you didn't quit, then you're not starting over, you're just continuing on with your lifestyle change. If you quit, that's a failure, but I don't see that, as you're soldiering on with the rest of us. It happens to all of us, up a few, down a few, and me, because I'm in maintenance, I'm all over the place, but I'M NOT IVING UP OR QUITING!!! I'm just continuing this journey that God has me on. Let's work this out together and kick some behind and get the lbs. off, FOR GOOD!!! If I'm able to give you a hand up, just HOLLER, and I do the best that I'm able to do.

Lost two kilos gained two kilos! Starting again today.
Went backwards as I went away a couple of times,
changed a routine which made motivation for the gym harder.
Stopped recording food and exercise. Start again today!
