I combine raw food with cooked and enjoy salads but in order to get in all the veggies I want to eat I need to do a lot of cooked. I just don't have the teeth for all raw. I never juice though and if you like it that if fine but I love fibre too much to lose it.

There is a lot more fiber in raw veg's than in cook. I do love raw vegs and fruits, like them more than in juices. I know a lot of us juice, but that never appealed to me. I love to eat my peanut butter with celery or an apple.
Lord, bless my diet buddies and help me met my weight goals

I do eat raw vegetables, and I eat them in large quantities, as I eat a lot of salad! However, I don't forgo any of my other foods. I don't do caffeine at all, and the only sugar I get, is already in the food itself, as I don't add any. I do exercise more and try to keep up with all of my challenges. I would check out that all RAW VEGGIES, so you can be educated, as to what it will do, or not do, to you and your body. Enjoy your lifestyle change and just

SUSY I wrote along post and it was lost. Do you use salt or caffeine. Did your Dr give you guide lines to help you to lower your blood pressure. I eat all the right foods but never eat raw foods except Fruit, Vegetables and nuts and seeds. Frankly I have no interest in raw foods but using my tracker and walking a few miles a day I have normal blood pressure and no longer use BP Medications I am 70 years old. For Protein I eat cottage cheese, beans and lentils. I never eat processed foods, they are not healthy they usually have way too much sodium in there. I never use cold cuts. I do eat meats and love it but I only eat three ounces as a serving. I only eat cooked fish and steam them in a covered frying pan with a tight lid. I hope this helps. Do talk to your DR and look on the site for tips to lowering BP. Or foods that lower BP. Exercise to lower Blood pressure. If you take any medications check they do not Make blood pressure higher. My name is Susy. I have high blood pressure and have decided to eat a raw diet for the last 2 months. It seems to be helping. Would love to know your thoughts on eating raw if you do, and how do you include enough protein in your diet?
