emoticon Startingover. Sorry to hear you lack support from your family, this will surely make things much harder for you... Your computer dependence is still a greater setback for a healthier life style - I'm still severely fighting with my sedentary ways and I know how extremely difficult are any real and significant changes in that. But you have the most optimistic opportunity to accomplish anything you'd wish for in your life and that's your age! Beware young age has a trick to postpone important decisions just because there is enough time and then - as if in a wink one finds out this isn't true. Hope you'll do what's good for your health and wellness on time and that is - NOW! emoticon

Welcome. You've made a good start. It's hard to maintain, though, unless you plan ahead. I spend far too much time on the computer, too, but now I plan specific times to exercise and limit my computer time. It's hard sometimes, but it's do-able

You've taken the hardest step, and that was coming here and fessing up to EVERYONE that you have a problem and you need help.

If you're true to your meal plan, that's laid out for you, you shouldn't have any problem losing weight, even without exercising, even though exercising would really help.

When I was in my wheelchair, for 4 months, I didn't get any exercise other than physical therapy, trying to strengthen my legs, so I could learn how to walk, again, and I lost weight. I lost the weight by watching what I was eating in the hospital. I spent 6 months there, and learned quite a bit about myself, from what to eat, when to eat, how much to eat, and my trigger foods.

And yes, you're right, it won't be an easy lifestyle change, but this is also do able. Once your body gets use to something or not having something, you won't notice it again, at least I didn't.

If you need any help, just HOLLER and someone will be there!!!

I came to this site to try to lose weight and to get support that is lacking at home. I want to be able to look in the mirror with pride and know that I have worked hard to be myself. I want to live positively and invite you to do the same. This will be hard because I spend all my time on the computer and hate to exercise. I am only twenty one so I am going to change my life and others. I just need a push every once and a while.
