my sister lost 105 pounds by walking 15000 steps a day at age 64.

i lost 44 pounds by giving up grain and sugar products at age 61.

Welcome. The good thing is you don't have to do much. Just take a look at what you're doing now and find some small changes you can make. Maybe join a challenge, like a cooking healthy one or the one I just finished, "Tame Your Sweet Tooth." They can be fun and they aren't hard. I started out walking to the corner (I live one house from the corner) and now I can do three miles with a Leslie Sansone Walk Aerobic video. Getting started is a case of "don't think about it, just do it."
