Try to take it day by day. If you can just make it through today and stay with the plan, you should be proud of yourself. Then try again tomorrow. If you have a day you mess up, don't worry and try not to be hard on yourself, and start again. The fact that you are trying is great, and just keep trying and you'll make great progress. Just be kind to yourself, and don't beat yourself up if you make a mistake. It took me many (way too many!) years to figure this out.

It is a hard slog but worth it. Make a list every day and cross off the tasks as you do them. C'mon, you can do it!

It helps to start by making small changes and letting those become part of your daily life. Then make some more small changes. That way it's not hard to keep up with. And, like compound interest, it all adds up to a big difference pretty quickly. If something isn't working for you, tweek it a bit.
