There is really no need to cook different meals. If you are serving meals to your family it should be healthy for them as well as yourself. Make the meal. Think about it and MEASURE your portions.
Overly big portions, going back for more because you made too much are often the problem. I call them PLANNED over meals so I can get two meals at a time One for today and made over the next day. Use is as leftovers.
I am 70 years young, I track my meals and I love to walk and exercise. Talk with the kids about eating healthy and staying healthy. It is as important as the other conversations you have with the kids. Go for it you can do it. Health is wealth in my humble opinion. We should treasure good health. Pat in Maine.
