In GOD We Trust Choose To Lose "If you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired." -General George S Patton, U.S.Army, 1912 Olympian

Hi Lisa, Welcome. I find the nutrition tracker useful. It helps me slow down after I hit my target calorie goal. I do sometimes try the exercises, the videos are good. My weight is going in the wrong direction which may be another minus to my new med. I hope you have your meds ironed out. I just started Clonidine on Wednesday and it makes me so tired I cannot function for several hours. I am going to find out if I can just take it in the evening so I can have a normal life. I had BP of 140/80 but I think 89/56 must be too low for me. Best of luck to you. Lola

Hi, I'm Lisa and a m new to this group. I've been a member of Spark for a few months, but have not taken advantage of all the features and trying to be better about that so I can be more successful in my weight loss journey. I am currently on 2 HBP meds and am hoping that maybe sometime along I can go back to being on only 1 or none. Looking for some help as I have been struggling and it has been very slow making any progress in losing lately. Seems though it's gotten harder being in my 50s....
