Hi, my name is Karla. I am starting this for the umpteenth time. I need to do this for me, for my family , for my future. I turn 50 next week. New beginnings. I'm married, with 2 children (9,11). I'm diabetic and I have a terrible family history of coronary artery disease. I don't want to be a statistic. I am hoping to find the tools and the encouragement to help me learn a better lifestyle and eating patterns and teach them to my children so that we don't continue this history.
