Using the nutrition tracker may seem complicated, but keep in mind that you don't always need total precision -- for instance, searching on "baked beans" will likely give you a lot of entries that will be close enough to enter into your tracker, without needing the specific brand or recipe. And in many cases, you will find the exact item, if it's a commercial product -- you can always work on adding your own recipes gradually.
There is a lot of information to be found on the SP site, and the community support is great, so join some teams that interest you (under the "community" tab above, click on "spark teams") and jump in on the discussion boards. Take one day at a time, and don't expect to be perfect -- we are here for you!

You can get started by exploring your main spark page! It has many links to an enormous amount of potential help! Potential energy is not released until it is given a path for release!
Click on the Articles & Video tab directly at the center above! In the drop down menu, choose Spark Diet and follow the instructions!
Click on the Start tab under My Trackers Menu Tab on the top left and setup your Food, Workout and Weight Trackers!
Where you spin the spark points wheel is locate, Find & Click on the "Spark Points Details" and review all of the items that earn you spark points! These are designed to get you informed and to motivate you to finding all of the stuff that the Spark People web-site has to offer! There are some One Time only exercises to ear you points as well as daily tasks! Consider every Spark Point as a step taken to educate yourself or as an actual action step the walks you closer to your goal! In this way, Spark Points are not just a virtual reward but rather a literal reward that is keep track of with Spark Points!
There are also opportunities to win Spark Point Prizes. These are virtual prizes that you can choose which if you follow through in reality and buy a real tool to equip you for success, you will be doing what it takes to succeed!
