It's very hard indeed when you have a problem with allergies. Just 3 days ago I was diagnosed by an urologist with some very unpleasant inflammation and he prescribed a strong antibiotic. The doc was so positive with the diagnoses that he even didn't question me in order to find out the reason. At home I investigated about that condition in the SP section and was astounded to learn that the inflammation was surely caused by a med I had used not so long ago - Cordaron (an antiarrhytmic drug). One can't be careful enough and docs not always choose to warn patients about all the possible side effects a drug can have. Wish you better luck with the next med they give you and most of all - success in reaching the dream goal of escaping from the meds at all.
I'm looking for support too. Earlier this week I found out I an allergic to one of my bp meds and am dealing with an itchy rash. This is the second time a med has caused this. Doc has a hard time finding a med that works and doesn't have bad side affects.
After knowing for a long time that I need to lose weight I finally am ready to get serious about it. I want to get off these meds. So any support I can get will be so helpful. I can also support others.
