my sister lost 105 pounds at age 63 walking 15000 steps a day.

i have lost 44 pounds by giving up grain and sugar products at age 60..

i walk 15000 steps a day.

i use a salad plate as my dinner plate.

i keep mandrtan oranges in the fridge. when the sweet tooth comes on i grab one or two tablespoons of the fruit.

Hi! My name is Brenda. I'm working on changing my weight-loss and exercise programs to create a New Lifestyle; a New Me! I'm into learning all about Diabetes and how to control my blood sugar as I have been recently diagnosed with this disease. I am almost to my anniversary date of getting my aortic heart valve replaced. That was on April 26, 2004. I also participate in AKC Obedience with my cocker spaniel, Jack. He is almost 8-years old. He is a large part of my life. I hope to also participate in some group forums through providing tips that I have learned and also learning from each of you!
