it is never to late to start.
my sister lost 105 pounds at age 63 walking 15000 steps a day.
i have lost 44 pounds by giving up grain and sugar products at age 60..
i walk 15000 steps a day.
i use a salad plate as my dinner plate.
i keep mandrtan oranges in the fridge. when the sweet tooth comes on i grab one or two tablespoons of the fruit.

Hope you'll soon realize how important is your decision "to do something different". And surely you've chosen right by joining SP. Best hint at present - do at first just what you say - do a lot of reading on the site and see all the useful tools provided. Wish you persistence and good luck!

I am new this this program. Will do a lot of reading on the site this week and start next week. Have to get my kitchen and pantry in order. Any helpful hints would be really helpful. Have been on Atkins and I love their bars, but after a year and not really loosing, I need to do something different.
