Break your weight loss goals to manageable bite sizes
say 10 lbs by end of January and when you get there and HAVE lost them you will feel motivated to get rid of his next 10 lb cousin.
Set your goal at 170 lbs and when at the end January you have lost the same 10 lbs you will still think about the 160 still to go. Same loss but the mind sees it differently. 10 lbs by is a small hill to climb and you can do it. 170 will sometimes seem like climbing Mount Everest.
