I noticed in your signature that you are trying to remove salt from your cooking. That's a hard one for me too. Please let me know what substitutes you use. I like flavor and I grew up in a house filled with spicy and salty food. Too much sodium but tastes oh-so-good!

I joined Sparkpeople because I really need to find friends who understand the importance of diet and exercise. I'd appreciate all of the motivation and suggestions you have, as I left all of my support systems back East when I moved to Southern Illinois. Also I'd appreciate info from locals about free/budget-friendly family fitness activities and physical activities for singles. Thanks :)
