may God bless your positive efforts
In GOD We Trust Choose To Lose "If you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired." -General George S Patton, U.S.Army, 1912 Olympian

Hi, I'm seriously needing some help. Are there any doctors out there? I saw the spine surgeon yesterday. He said I need major surgery...again. The first surgery was from a freak accident. This time they need to release nerve damage that came on gradually. What I need help with is loosing at least 15-20 lbs to take more stress off my back before he will do surgery. I weighed 191 yesterday and 189 this morning. I've kept up with some of the stretching exercises but find more intense workouts virtually impossibe right now due to pain and numbness in my lower back and leg. I've been here before and fell by the wayside. We (my husband and I) work for an organic seed company so that already has given me hope for a healthier 'self.' I'm retired except for the hardest job ever, being a Mom, Grandma, wife and domestic engineer. My other health issues are high blood pressure and last week I was told I am diabetic, late onset. Does anyone have any helpful suggestions to speed the weight loss and taking stress off of my spine... Am I even in the right forum? Thanks so much for listening and for any support. Dar
