We aren't sure if the meds will be enough to keep from needing surgery for the aneurysm. The Dr. is doing all she can with meds to keep from surgery. The next step according to her, if the meds aren't enough is maybe a stint in the abdominal aorta at the site. She says that it is the least invasive treatment if meds don't do it. She is encouraged that the low dose of meds, 12.5 mg Hydrochlorothiazide, is working so far.
