In GOD We Trust Choose To Lose
"If you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired."

DEAR KURI, what do you mean exactly by being on the "edge of hypertensive". If your readings are the highest of the norm (120/80) then you may choose to call it just normal instead the edge of hypertension. I'd suggest you better stop worrying about some future probabilities and stick to the healthy living style you've adopted. Here is a link you may look up for basics on BP www.bloodpressureuk.org/BloodPressur

Excuse me if you're even better informed. Good wishes.

I am with my bulldogs on this one.
I have a family disposition to high blood pressure too and the only thing that works for me are the doctor's pills

I'm 24 years old and have a genetic predisposition to having high blood pressure. I've changed my diet to being demi-vegetarian (eating seafood and fish, but no land animal meat). I exercise vigorously 3-4 days a week doing both cardio and strength training, but still I'm on the edge of being hypertensive. I try to live a natural life style by not taking any medications or prescription drugs, but I'm afraid as I get older I may need to take medication for my blood pressure :(
Any pointers from fellow team members would be very valuable!
