I feel like we have a lot in common. I am also new to SP and have been battling an extra 100 lbs for about 18 years. I now have more than 100lbs to lose. We can do this! Welcome!

That is a good idea. I usually walk 10,000 steps but I will up it to 15,000. Thanks for the idea

THIS WORKS. WENT ON WEEKS CRUISE DID NOT GAIN A POUND.

my sister walks 15,000 steps a day at 63 years
old and has lost 105 pounds. she went from a size 24 to a size 10. all her health issues dropped off as the 105 pounds dropped off. took 16 months.

i gave up grain and sugary products and have lost 44 pounds at age 60. i went from a size 18 to a size 10 shorts and medium tops from a 1 or 2x. took 7 months.

we are both still loosing weight until we reach our goal

My name is Lynne and I'm from Santa Barbara, California..
I just joined also and so far so good. I'm assuming you have HBP, right?
The best part for me has been tracking my food...which means my salt and potassium, along with calories I'm taking in. It's great to have this resource. Now I know (finally) how to eat better to lose (hopefully) and lower my blood pressure.
What an education I've gotten.

Hello everyone. I am excited to be with you guys. I have never done this before. I think this is what has been needed in my life to lose this weight. I have struggled for almost twenty years to get rid of 100 pounds. Pray that I can follow the plan and be successful. I know I can do this I just have to continue in the faith and be committed to God and it will happen. I know it can be done. Pray for me and this path I am about to partake. I have done various diets and lost and gained back almost 40 pounds. Never could keep it off. I am excited and look forward to as much encouragement as possible from everyone. GlorybetoGod
