my sister walks 15,000 steps a day at 63 years old and has lost 105 pounds.

i gave up grain and sugary products and have lost 44 pounds at age 60.

we are both still loosing weight until we reach our goal

emoticon Small changes over time has worked for me. I started by changing 1 meal or snack at a time and 15 minutes walking. emoticon

I'm so happy that my friend told me about this website. I was just reading a progress note from a memeber who stated take it slow, don't strave yourself and keep it real (my words). I too been struggling with my weight - more so now since the passing of my lovely husband. But, I have do me now and get it off. I will continue view the message board for Hot Topics and healthful tips. Again thank you for opening up a new way for people like me.
