In GOD We Trust Choose To Lose
"If you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired."

Hi! I am 60 and have 2 grandsons in Florida. I know what you mean wanting to be able to go to the beach and feel good about your self, and have energy to join in the fun. This is the place to find the help. emoticon

Well, I'm not a 40 something, closer to a 60 something but welcome!! Hey, I have 9 grandchildren and running up and down those bleachers will definitely help on your journey. Good luck and stick to it! Lots of friends here traveling with you.

Hello fellow 40 Somethings! I have just recently have joined the group. I know I will be successful and hope to inspire my beautiful daughter in the process. I have struggled all my life with my weight, some of it is genetic, but most if from being an emotional eater. I am married to my high school sweetheart, who says he will love me whatever my size. I have been blessed with two wonderful children, who have given me two awesome in laws. But most of all, I have two of the most beautiful and precious grandsons,( I am biased in my opinion). I have tried other weight loss programs before and have been successful, losing a100#, but I let my emotions be a bigger part of my life. Now I am ready to take my life back. I want to be able to run up and down the bleachers, and be abl to do my duty as a grandma on the sidelines of little games through whatever they may do.
