I don't think I've posted on this team yet, but I'm happy to report that I am seeing results. When I first joined this team on August 1, my BP was a scary 193/105 - even on medication. After a few weeks of eating right and exercising but also finding this website and feeling like I can now be successful at getting healthier, my BP today was 135/88. I still have some work to do, but I feel confident that I'll get to a healthy level. I'm thinking a lot of the progress has to do with feeling like I will become healthier (reduction of stress), but I also found that I was consuming more sodium than I should. With the nutrition tracker, I now know what I'm really doing.
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.
Then find someone that life gave tequila.
