In GOD We Trust Choose To Lose
"If you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired."
-General George S Patton, U.S.Army, 1912 Olympian

Welcome.
I am not a people person either really, but I find it quite easy to just write down what is bugging me at the time and can be fairly sure someone will come back with the right kind of advice or a note of how something similar happened to them which puts my problem into its own perspective. 10 years your junior I share my home with both 82 yr old parents and have overdone my fitness program today cleaning windows and changing net curtains and I will know about it in the morning. Advice to both of us. Do what you can and try to find the middle road between pushing yourself a bit and overdoing it completely. It is better to do a little today and be able to do a little more tomorrow than to do too much and spend the next week recovering

Watch me closely, Lord. I'm hungry, and I'm weak.

I am a 68 year old retired Dog Groomer who has gained 75 lbs. too much in the last 10 years and needs to get her health back in step. I have sit so long that I can barely get around and over did my exercise the first two days on Spark People which made getting around even harder. I know I can not do this by myself and am asking for your help.
I groomed by myself for 34 years, and do not know how to interact with people. Dogs, I get along fine with. If you can help me understand how to seek help from other people, not trying to do it alone, I would appreciate it.
