Best wishes on your journey. I have awful stomach pains when I take most medications so I understand how painful it can be to take something that is supposed to make you better and you end of feeling worse. emoticon emoticon

my sister walks 15,000 steps a day at 63 years old and has lost 100 pounds.

i gave up grain and sugary products and have lost 44 pounds at age 60.

we are both still loosing weight until we reach our goal

I understand that even with "good" medical advice it can be extremely difficult.
I am reminded that they are "practicing" medicine and there is more $$$ not in a cure!........
but $$$$in medicine.!

Hello everyone,I have been a member for awhile now and not been serious about this weight loss journey. My blood sugar is rising, and my blood pressure is off the charts. Haveing a hard time finding meds to bring my blood pressure down. My health care provider found something that worked, and my face became so swollen, I had to stop it. I know what I need to do, now is the time to be held accountable, my journey starts NOW! With all the information here at sparkpeople, I know I can do this!
