my sister walks 15,000 steps a day at 63 years old and has lost 100 pounds.

i gave up grain and sugary products and have lost 44 pounds at age 60.

we are both still loosing weight until we reach our goal

Welcome DRUBEL
I just joined three weeks ago and so far tracking my exercise and nutrition has made all the difference in my efforts to lose weight and get fit. I have lost 3 pounds!
I can identify with adult kids moving back home! My son moved back two years ago after living on the other side of the country for five years.
I also can identify with having stress in my life, but fortunately I have had a two month break! I am a public high school teacher and we go back in two weeks. I am very lucky to have a very nice school nurse who will take my blood pressure whenever I ask.

Hi and welcome. I am pretty new here also. One of the minorities as I am a guy and lots of tips etc, are geared toward women....however I can hang with the best of ya's....lol You will find lots of good tips here and I'm sure there is a community board that deals specifically with stress. Be sure to check out all of the community forums. Also lots of great ideas for snacks and meals. Good luck on your journey...I'm sure you will do fine.

I'm new here and not sure yet what I am doing. I really want to lose this weight and need all the help I can get. I work, am the wife of a disabled husband, the mother of a daughter( who needs to grow up) and the grandmother of three and they all live in my house. Stress is my biggest issue as every time my nerves go so does the food, right to my mouth.
